After 3 years in Hereford, External Wall Insulation replacement works by GPD Contracts are nearing completion.
Works have consisted of nearly 2000 sqr mts of EWI at two housing developments in Hereford.
Main Contractor EG Carter
Wetherby Cavity rail EWI system was chosen by our client Shropshire housing to replace an Insulated scratch render system. The original system was installed around 10 years ago.
Barton Place, Hereford began in 2017, again for Shropshire housing.
Main contractor B&M Babbage
The original system was 1 st generation EWI system, again installed around 10 years ago. Incorrect design and detailing unfortunately resulted in system failure.
Permarock Mineral wool EWI system provided the new system at Barton place, which has been carefully installed to manufacturer guideline for installation to a Timber frame construction.
Silicone K finish was selected for both projects. The original colour schemes were retained to satisfy planning requirements.
